Description: This is the story of a promising life cut short. A story of a beautiful girl; daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt, and friend. She was so bubbly and outgoing, so full of life. She was a happy and loving person who had big plans for her future. She was loving, dedicated, talented, imaginative, creative, emotional, wild and crazy. As I am writing this I feel a profound emptiness. I realize by calendar years that my youngest daughter Cheryl Jean would now be 50 years old. But when I think of her I can only picture the bright and lively 19 year old girl who was poised on the threshold of her life. She surely was not the first young woman to lose her life in a car accident and I certainly was not the first mother to lose a child. But perhaps in the sharing of Cheryl's life and the telling of how her family and friends dealt with her death I will be able to help others who have faced a similar loss and maybe to put my loss into perspective. Cheryl Jean had a truly beautiful soul and everyone loved her. She earned many nicknames in her life but the one that really stuck was ?Bug'. She was a lover of cats and a champion of underdogs who wanted to fix everybody and everything. She was like every other 19 year old, and nothing like any other person in the world. She was my baby, and this is her story.
